As soon as you receive your Wheelbase, download our DirectForce Config Tool to activate it with your purchase code. From there, you can buy higher torque levels up to 20Nm at any time (you only pay the difference for the upgrade). Once you unlock a torque level, you have permanent access to it.

MiGE motor at the heart of the VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base

The VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base is powered by the popular MiGE 130ST-M10010 (“Small” MiGE) motor. This motor responds so quickly that any delay is practically imperceptible. The motor unit is almost completely free of internal inertia and friction and was originally designed for far more demanding applications than sim racing.

This motor offers precision, power (20 Nm peak, if unlocked with a code), and durability. Via our hub adapter, it can be connected to various third-party steering rims. With the VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base, you finally experience the ultimate sim racing experience.

VRS® Wheelbase Controller

The MiGE motor is controlled by the VRS® DirectForce® Pro Wheel Base Controller, known as the “brain” of the solution. Inside the compact steel housing is a specially designed all-in-one USB force feedback & motor controller board, bundled with a fanless 400W power supply and a brake resistor.

Additionally, the controller algorithms measure and compensate for any inherent friction or “notchy” feeling (detent sensation) in the motor during a multi-day break-in phase (phasing period) at startup, so the MiGE motor delivers precise and smooth response across its entire range of motion, unmatched in the sim racing world.
